po nekoliko dana te sa sobom donosi niski tlak i uglavnom veliku vla\u017enost zraka. Ne nastupa naglo, pu\u0161e uglavnom ravnomjerno brzinom od 6 do 11\u00a0m\/s (od 22 do 40\u00a0km\/h), no katkad dose\u017ee i orkansku ja\u010dinu od 30\u00a0m\/s (110\u00a0km\/h). Najja\u010di je na otvorenome moru, gdje stvara velike valove. U kanalima je opasna za manje brodove jer se mo\u017ee pojaviti iznenada, gotovo bez ikakva predznaka i odmah zapuhati orkanskom snagom.<\/p><p>Na moru bura raspr\u0161ivanjem vode stvara tanak, magli\u010dast sloj, takozvano \u201edimljenje mora\u201c. Prema otvorenom moru brzina bure se smanjuje i mahovitost slabi, ali su valovi sve ve\u0107i. Tijekom ljeta nastaje kao lokalan vjetar koji je prolazan i kratkotrajan te obi\u010dno pro\u0111e za jedan dan, ali zna napraviti velike valove i to posebice dalje od obale.
